Celebrity arrests include Cory Monteith and Randy Travis

Today’s entertainment news begins with arrests! Cory Montieth, Finn from Glee was cited by police for violating a noise ordinance. He was reportedly having a party to celebrate moving into a new house. Not a good way to start your residency when the neighbors have to call the law from the beginning! And Randy Travis, country music icon, was arrested for public intoxication. Uh oh! The pressure in Hollywood is getting to everyone it seems!

Oprah’s network OWN has had some problems establishing its footing in the industry and it doesn’t seem that things are getting any better. Rosie O’Donnell’s show just cut thirty staff members, moved to another studio and got rid of their house band. Uh oh!

We know that New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady was visibly upset after his team’s loss in the Super Bowl to the New York Giants, but his wife wants you to know it wasn’t his fault! Oh boy! The supermodel has come out in defense of her husband slamming the team’s receivers by saying that Tom can’t both throw the ball and catch it too! Ouch! She threw in some expletives and said the receivers have to catch the ball when they are supposed to. I get she is trying to defend her husband and that is very good, but let me just say, you don’t hear the Manning wives saying a word, ever! They are so quiet that I didn’t even know there were Manning-wives!

I gave you my opinion yesterday on Madonna’s Super Bowl Halftime performance, now CNN host Piers Morgan gives his and he wasn’t as forgiving as I was! I said her performance was awful, he said it was gruesome! He went on to say that watching her was like watching your drunken aunt at Christmas! He said that he doesn’t like her and she doesn’t like him. He said the two do have something in common and that was that neither of them has ever sung live at the Super Bowl! Good one Piers!
