School and church officials in Chenoa plan to make counselors available for those mourning an 8-year-old boy who died in a head-on crash between a pair of go-carts in his front yard. Officials at Chenoa Elementary School say counselors and clergy will be on hand today. Authorities say Ethan Smith died Thursday after the go-cart he was driving crashed into another go-cart driven by his mother's boyfriend, 33-year-old Aaron Slager. Autopsy results found the boy died of head, neck and left chest injuries. Authorities say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Police says no one has been charged in the boy's death.
