Police warn Pontiac residents after numerous burglaries
Police warn Pontiac residents after numerous burglaries
When leaving your car or house, you better lock up. That’s the advice from Pontiac Police after numerous burglaries have occurred around town over the past month.
Since August 4, three Pontiac residences were burglarized, two businesses were broken into, one box truck was driven four blocks and crashed into a tree and 17 vehicles have been entered, with things such as money, cell phones, and I-pods stolen. All of the incidents are under investigation and police aren’t sure how many people are responsible. Pontiac Police Major Jim Woolford says the department does have some leads, but no arrests have been made. If you notice any suspicious activity, you should call 911.
