Giants prove they were the ones to beat all along

As you know, or if you didn’t watch, the New York Giants defeated the favored New England Patriots last night in Super Bowl 46! Some are blaming the Patriots loss on bad play decisions by Coach Belichick. Some say it was Tom Brady’s wife Gisele’s fault because last week she had e-mailed people asking for prayers for her husband! Truth is, the Giants are a better team than anyone gave them credit for! Eli Manning has more than proven himself to be a superior quarterback and Tom Coughlin saved his job for another year and possibly for life by putting together a great team and some pretty good plays while becoming the oldest coach to win a Super Bowl!

It helps too; that Wes Welker of the Patriots dropped the ball at a time when he really needed to catch it and the injury to Rob Gronkowski was more of a problem than anyone knew! The Patriots were incredibly choked up at the press conference following the game, knowing this may be the last time this legendary team is together. Things change super-fast during the off season, so who knows what the franchise will look like come August.
