This story is fantastic news for anyone who has a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s disease! One of the main worries for caregivers is the patient wondering off, but GTX Corp, a company that focuses on customizable, miniaturized GPS solutions, says it’s got FCC certification of its GPS Shoe. The company says the GPS enabled shoes contain a miniaturized 2-way GPS technology that can actually track your loved one. I have a friend whose husband’s Aunt wandered off not too long ago. In her car, crossing state lines! Luckily she was located unhurt, but how frightening it was for the entire family! I think this could go down as one for the greatest inventions in a very long time!
