Illini take on Purdue tonight

A struggling Illinois basketball squad will square off against the Purdue Boilermakers this evening in Champaign. The Illini faithful are hoping for a win.

Any home game is now vital if Illinois wants to make the NCAA tournament.

The Boilermakers are 6 – 6 in the Big Ten and the Illini have a good opportunity to beat them. Unfortunately, the Assembly Hall has not meant an automatic win for the Illini this season. They have dropped games at home against lesser opponents than Purdue.
