Jake Clemmons to replace his famed uncle in the E-Street Band

Although there is no one that can fill the legendary shoes of E-Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemmons, a pretty darn close resemblance has been found! His nephew, Jake Clemmons has joined Bruce on the Wrecking Ball Tour! He has played with the E-Street Band before and performed by his famed uncle’s side at President Bill Clinton’s inauguration in 1992.

Yesterday, I told you how CNN had suspended political pundit Roland Martin after he sent some offensive Tweets. He now says he would be happy to meet with GLAAD concerning his supposedly homophobic remarks. GLAAD has responded saying they look forward to meeting with him. The two sides are said to be working out the details of their meeting.

Naomi Watts is set to star as Lady Diana in a biopic about the last years of the Princess’ life. Filming will begin later this year.

The Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame is making great gesture by inducting back-up groups in whose leader has already been inducted. The groups being honored include the Blue Caps who performed with Gene Vincent, The Comets who were behind the magical sound of Bill Haley, Buddy Holly’s band the Crickets, James Brown’s Famous Flames, the Midnighters who performed behind Hank Ballard and Smokey Robinson’s Miracles.

America Idol decided to not keep around the talents of Jim Carrey’s daughter, Jane. Jane may have her father’s looks, but got her genes from the shallower end of the pool apparently. Proving that Hollywood Week is hard on even celebrity kids!

Poor Taylor Swift has gotten dumped once again! She had been dating actor Eddie Redmayne. She was dating him while in London auditioning for a part in Les Mis. He got his part, she didn’t and now he gave her the boot!

Chad Ochocinco of the New England Patriots reportedly wants to change his name back to Chad Johnson. He’s getting married this summer to a Basketball Wives wife and wants her to have a real last name instead of a made-up one! Awwwww, he’s so thoughtful!
