Madonna slipped and nearly fell; could’ve broken a hip!

What did you think about Madonna’s Halftime performance at the Super Bowl last night? I thought it was awful! I don’t know why we can’t get some current artists to perform! Lady Gaga? Katy Perry? At one point she slipped off a bleacher set and then struggled to get back up! Her dance moves her horrible! In fact, I can’t dance at all, but given enough spirits I think even I can do dance better! For someone that is preparing for a concert where her tickets are $300 a piece she didn’t make much of a case for herself! My oldest daughter, sadly, informed our party that she doesn’t even remember seeing a good Halftime show! How sad is that? We all did enjoy the Cirque du Soleil troupe though, so at least we had that! By the way, Kelly Clarkson proved that you can memorize the words to the National Anthem and belt it baby! She might have been a better choice for Halftime.

So, Rihanna has bleached her hair blond and fans aren’t happy about it. Seriously?

I was so excited when I heard the news that Adam Lambert had joined the band Queen! I mean it had to be a dream come true for him since he performed with them during the finale of his season of American idol, right? Wrong! He says he has not confirmed any performance dates with Queen. However, he is flattered. Uh, yea, he should be!

If you are a fan of memoirs, then get ready for the ultimate! It’s called Hillbilly Heart by none other than country icon Billy Ray Cyrus! Did you know he gave up on a promising baseball career for music! It’s true! And look where that got him! One hit song that was really awful and one hit TV show riding on the coattails of his pre-teen daughter!

Happy birthday wishes to singer Rick Astley, he turns 46 today and Axel Rose of Guns N Roses is 50? Wow. Maybe he’ll perform at next year’s Super Bowl. He’s in the right age range, it seems.
