BLOOMINGTON – The American Red Cross has issued some winter travel tips.
Officials encourage motorists to allow extra time when traveling this winter and to always wear seatbelts. Also, monitor weather conditions and adhere to travel advisories. Be sure to start trips with a full tank of gas and keep the fuel above a quarter tank.
The Red Cross also says to check tires to ensure they meet the recommended pressure and to dress in layers so you can adjust to changing conditions.
