Route 66 Museum saw over 500 visitors last week

Around 500 visitors were counted at the Route 66 Museum Complex last week, according to information released by the Pontiac Tourism Department.
Over 300 people toured the Waldmire Road Yacht while 342 visited the Pontiac Oakland Auto Museum.
Visitors came from 15 different states and 13 countries, including: Belgium, Wales, Finland, New Zealand, and Italy. Groups included members of the Tri-Chevy Car Club, the Rock River Restores Car Club, personnel from the Extension Office in Ottawa and an FFA group from Minnesota.
Upcoming tours include the St. Louis Pontiac Car Club tomorrow and members of the Illinois Valley Oldsmobile Club will be in town November 5.
