Veteran program returns to Pontiac

PONTIAC – A traveling program for veterans returns to Pontiac this afternoon.
The Veterans Information Benefits and Employment Seminar, also known as VIBES, will take place from 12:30-4 p.m. at the Pontiac City Hall on West Howard Street.
The free program ensures Illinois veterans know what services are available to them as well as their families and employers. A panel of Veteran service professionals from a variety of federal, state and local organizations will be on hand along with an IDES Veterans Employment Representative providing employment assistance and resume critiques.
The VIBES program is held monthly in Pontiac, Bloomington, Ottawa, and Springfield. For more information, call Mick Mills at 309-827-6237, extension 361.
