Of all the years of broadcasting games from Pontiac Township High School, I can't remember a better night than the halftime last Friday.  Pontiac had a Special Olympics extravaganza 10-minute basketball game.  The kids had smiles on their faces from ear to ear.  No one cared about the final score, they just had fun playing the game.  Basketball is meant to be a game of fun.  I know we're all taught that we are supposed to win, but the Special Olympics is what sports are all about.  
A great job by everyone who put that together.  It truly was a night I will never forget.
