The Livingston County Pet Population Control program is offering financial assistant for people who qualify to have their pet spayed or neutered. To be eligible participants must show proof of Livingston County residency, receive Social Security Disability or are on the SNAP program or have adopted a dog from a shelter or rescue group that is in need of the procedure. Having your pet “fixed” greatly improves his behavior and keeps him from wandering away from home and keep him safe and happy in many other ways.
