If you have outdoor cats on your property that need to be spayed or neutered, there is a cost-effective way to have them treated.
Karen Gregory, from the Livingston County Humane Society endorses Operation Safe, a group working to control animal populations in the county by offering veterinary services at deeply discounted prices. Gregory says there are no income requirements for accessing the service, but you do have to show that the animal isn’t a house pet.
Operation Safe in Livingston County can be reached at 815-743-5333. They’ll be transporting animals for treatment tomorrow, Thursday, February 19th, but Gregory says there may still be room available.
