Last night, the Heartland Community College Board of Trustees approved a tuition and fee hike that will take effect this summer. Board President, Rod Widmer, says the board worked to balance the needs of the college with the needs of the students in coming to the decision.
On average, students at Heartland will see their tuition and fees rise by about $3 per credit hour. Widmer added that the college has a variety of scholarship and financial aid options available to students who need help covering their costs.
