Illinois 4-H members will have the opportunity to learn how ideas become laws during a mock debate in Springfield March 27 and 28.

Members will visit the chambers of the Illinois House of Representatives and delegates will debate mock bills using the same process used by real legislators.

Youth who were at least 14 years of age by Sept. 1, 2014, may register online at go.illinois.edu/4hgreatdebate. Registration closes March 13. The $110 registration fee includes lodging at the State House Inn, three meals and all program costs.
