An ongoing investigation led the Livingston County Proactive Unit and the Streator Emergency Response Team to execute a search warrant on a residence in Streator on April 9, where they seized several drugs, including methadone, suboxone, zolpidem and cannabis, as well as drug paraphernalia.
According to Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress, Thomas Black, of Streator, was located inside the residence at 602 Carriage Lanes, where he was taken into custody.
Assisting the two agencies included the Livingston County Sheriff’s Police patrol and detectives.
Childress said the investigation is ongoing with charges possibly pending.
