OSF Healthcare System Senior VP of Care Management was among a select group of health care leaders invited to the Chicago Region 5 CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) Offices to be part of the latest national effort to transform and improve health care in the country.

According to a press release from OSF Healthcare Systems, the objectives of the roundtable were to gather feedback on the CMS experience in terms of Care Coordination and Primary Care Realities.  The dozen participants represented State Medical Societies from Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin as well as various state health-related associations from Illinois and specifically Chicago.

A Pioneer Accountable Care Organization, OSF HealthCare has been aggressively moving toward value payment models of care for several years, with success measured by the overall health of the patients served. The goal of all providers within OSF HealthCare is to provide the right care for the right patient at the right time.
