The Board of Directors for Pontiac Bankcorp, Inc. recently elected Dr. Robert E. Heins as its chairman.

Heins served as a doctor of osteopathy at Madison Street Clinic in Pontiac for 38 years. He has served in various positions with Pontiac Bankcorp and Bank of Pontiac for more than 30 years.

Heins and his wife, Terri, have three grown children and six grandchildren.
