The St. Louis Cardinals are still the best team in baseball.  They lose their star pitcher, and all they do is go on an 8-game winning streak.  The last couple of nights the Cubs were leading but before you knew it, the Cards came back to win.  Fundamental baseball, they do all the little things right and they continue to win because of it.  For us Cubs fans, we are going to enjoy a wild card chance some day, but the Cards are going to win the division for a long time.
