Photo enthusiasts traveling Illinois Route 66 this year have a chance to win a basket of Mother Road goodies, and all they have to do is take a creative selfie.

Each month, the Illinois Route 66 Scenic Byway will choose three selfies with the hashtag #MyIl66 posted to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Those chosen will be the snaps with the most likes, comments and shares. Top three winners will win a Route 66 license plate and basketball cap. People will then be able to vote on all the top winners once a year to win the “motherload” of prizes, including a basket full of Illinois Route 66 memorabilia and gift certificates.
