Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress recently announced the winner of the annual Illinois Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Award.
Childress said Pontiac Township High School student Grace Lyons was this year’s winner. She was awarded this $500 scholarship due to her outstanding scholastic accomplishments, extracurricular activities and exemplary character traits.
Alternate candidates were Kelly Pagel of Odell and Jordan Johns of Pontiac.
