Reverends George and Rubye Russell were named this year’s Rotary Citizens of the Year.

The pair has been a part of Pontiac for many years in their work with the Livingston County Food Pantry, Nomads and even helped during the First Night celebrations for many years.

They will be honored Tuesday at noon at Baby Bull’s Fine Dining. The Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce asks for RSVPs by today and can be done by calling them at 815-844-5131.
