The Pontiac Police recently completed round three of the retail tobacco compliance checks as part of the “Kids Can’t Buy ‘Em Here” campaign.

According to Pontiac Police, the checks of 15 Pontiac tobacco retailers found 13 in compliance with two in non-compliance.  Amanda Wood sold tobacco to a minor agent at Pontiac Travel Mart, located at 1909 W. Reynolds St., and James Roper did the same at Pontiac Mini Mart, located at 743 W. Howard Street.  Both were issued citations at the scene.
