The third class of the Fundamentals of Modern Manufacturing is graduating Friday and Adam Dontz, CEO of the Greater Livingston County Economic Development Council said the program has had great success since its inception
“I’m really pleased to report that after graduation Friday, May 29, we’ll have nearly 40 people that have completed the Fundamentals of Modern Manufacturing class,” Dontz said. “To date, we have 100 percent graduation rate and nearly 88 percent job placement rate.”
The GLCEDC has also been working on bringing new business and jobs to the county, with big news that will be announced in the near future.
“Later this week, we’ll be publicly announcing a ten-year property tax abatement for a Livingston County business that’s adding 25,000 new square feet of industrial space,” Dontz said.
Dontz will be the Friday morning guest on WJEZ’s Community Forum with Todd Wineburner, where details of the news and other GLCEDC happenings will be discussed.
