The Prairie Central FCCLA took inspiration from Jimmy Fallon’s “Lip Sync Battles” when planning the fundraiser that will help send its students to the national conference in Washington DC this July.

Ariel Bohm and Leah Zorn, chapter and section FCCLA officeholders, said the contest will be at Chenoa Elementary School Friday at 7 p.m. Children and adults will be split into four different groups.

Bohm and Zorn said this is the perfect night for Prairie Central families to come together after a recent tragedy at their school.

The pair said the school experienced a tragedy this week and see this as a great chance to come together and have a little fun.

The group is looking into creating a hash tag for the event to hopefully gain the attention of Fallon.
