The Illinois House has passed the State Representatives Kathleen Willis’s proposed bill to outlaw e-cigarette possession to all under 18.

E-cigarettes are a hot topic this summer as it is often questioned whether it is safe or not, especially for people under the legal age limit to purchase and use this nicotine based product.

Willis explains that most e-cigarettes and vape pens contain nicotine in them which is a harmful addictive substance, but that is all they know currently.

Willis said the FDA is still out ruling as to whether this is a really harmless device or not.

The FDA is due to come out with their findings this summer.
