The 4-H Aerospace Special Interest Club, geared toward children ages eight and older, is set to begin June 22.

Students will learn the basics of aerospace, building their own rocket and an opportunity to launch that rocket.

Classes will be from 1 to 3 June 22 through 27 at the University of Illinois Extension Office on South Locust Street in Pontiac.

To register for the club, contact the University of Illinois Extension office at (815) 842-1776 or go to web.extension.illinois.edu/lmw and click on 4-H Summer Opportunities. Registration is due June 15.
