Livingston County will be receiving new voter registration cards in their mailboxes throughout the next week and Livingston County Clerk Kristy Masching advises voters to return those new cards if there are any changes.
Masching said it’s important for those cards to be returned with corrections, if possible, because it will make the voting process easier for voters and her staff, as well.
“It’s important to get it done if you’re serious about voting in an election,” Masching said. “It’s important ahead of time. It saves work at the end and confusion, too, for the voters.”
Cards should be returned with address or name changes, as well as a card mailed to an address where a person no longer resides. Some changes need to be made at the clerk’s office.
