A Varna man was arrested over the weekend and charged with three counts of murder Monday morning in LaSalle County.
According to a press release from the Oglesby Police Department, Bradley M. French was arrested after an investigation into the stabbing death of a 38-year-old male in Oglesby. The weapon used was a bow and arrow.
The name is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
Police responded to a call about a possible stabbing at the Illinois Valley Community College campus and noted the stabbing was unrelated to any college activities.
Assisting the Oglesby Police Department in the investigation were the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Police, LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s office and the State Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit.
French remains in the LaSalle County Jail. He will be seen in court next July 2 at 9 a.m.
