A special symposium, sponsored by the Greater Economic Development Council, is scheduled for later this morning at the Pontiac Caterpillar plant.

Adam Dontz, CEO of the GLCEDC, said this event is full of female leadership speakers on “How Being Different Makes a Difference: Insights from Women.”

“The Economic Development Council has an all-female lineup of presenters with panelists, such as an MBA, Ph.D., CPA and MD,” Dontz said. “Our panelists are leaders from Caterpillar, R. R. Donnelley, OSF Healthcare and academia. This dynamic group will discuss issues important to women in the workplace.”
