As I start my 30th year of broadcasting I always mark my calendar for the rival game – Prairie Central and Pontiac. This game over the years has been a lot of fun to call, and now it’s promoted more than ever.  It’s just not the Bank of Pontiac, WJEZ T-shirts, or a trophy from the Bank of Pontiac – it’s everything for the county. The game on the schedule is September 11, but I promise you one thing, both schools have a special star on this one, because it’s the rival game, and we all look forward to this one.
