The Association of the Healthcare Environment recently announced Pam Toppell as its president-elect.

The AHE is the professional organization of choice for professionals responsible for caring for the patient and resident care environment across all care settings, including hospitals, long term care, ambulatory care and continuing care communities.

Toppell is the manager of environmental services for OSF HealthCare’s eastern region, which includes OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, among others.

She will serve a two-year term as president-elect beginning January 1, and a two year term as president, beginning January 1, 2018.
