Family, faculty and the community are invited to attend Pontiac District 429’s Family Reading Night Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The event is centered on a superhero theme and those attending can choose to come dressed as their favorite superheroes.

Included in the night will be the Scholastic Book Fair, which will be holding a buy one, get one free sale, as well as guest readers.

The event will take place at Central School, located at 117 W. Livingston Street in Pontiac, with parking available on the street or blacktop playground.
