OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center has been named among the top 100 rural and community hospitals.
This award was given by iVantage, a company specializing in health analytics and performance benchmarking nationally.
Pam Meiner, community relations coordinator for the hospital, said staff at the hospital was excited with this recognition.
“I think recognitions like this motivate us even more to continue the good work we’re doing. It tells us that when we’re looking at ways to capitalize on opportunities that we have to always improve, to always look at how we can better, how we can meet our patients’ needs and our providers’ needs. This motivates us to keep working in that direction and to always, always keep moving forward,” Meiner said.
OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center was one of only four hospitals in Illinois named to the list.
