Two individuals were cited in Pontiac Wednesday during tobacco compliance checks in conjunction with the “Kids Can’t Buy ‘Em Here” campaign.

Minors posing as undercover agents for the Pontiac Police department conducted supervised tobacco purchases at 15 tobacco retailers in Pontiac and Bailey Sartoris at Trainor BP on Howard Street and Jesse Payton at Mobile Oil on Ewing Drive were cited for selling tobacco products to the minor agents.

The Pontiac Police Department has been a part of the Kids Can’t Buy ‘Em Here campaign since 2007.
