The University of Illinois Extension will be holding cut flower gardening workshops in Pontiac and Eureka beginning June 1.
Cut flower gardening is described as an easy gardening endeavor that increases flowers in the garden and also allows the enjoyment of a beautiful floral arrangement on the breakfast table. These classes will be conducted by Extension horticulture educators Candice Miller and Kelly Allsup.
The first class is at the Pontiac office at 10 am on June 1, and the second is at the Eureka office at 6:30 pm June 7. The classes have a $15 registration fee. To sign up, call 309-663-8306.
