Two arrested after drugs discovered during search

Two Pontiac residents were arrested on drug charges Tuesday morning in Pontiac.

According to a press release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, a drug investigation led officers to a consent search of an apartment on Deerfield Road. During that investigation, 12 bags including 1.8 grams of heroin, hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia were seized as evidence.

Andrew Hallam and Tricia Johns were both arrested on drug charges associated with this investigation.

Agencies involved with the arrest and search included the Livingston County Proactive Unit, patrol units and the Dwight drug unit.
