The Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce will begin their second round of the Shop Local, Shop Chamber sweepstakes beginning Friday.

Mindi Terrell, executive director of the Chamber, said the first time they held the contest was super successful and has no doubt this will be the same or greater.

“The Shop Local: Shop Chamber that we did in February was extremely successful. I was so excited for our first time out doing this sweepstakes. We had more than 750 receipts turned in, which I think is fantastic and just shows all the local shopping going on. We are doing the sweepstakes again and it will go from July 1 to the 31, and my goal is we bring in more than 1,000 receipts this time and I definitely think the community can do that,” Terrell said.
