Emington Third of July Celebration begins Sunday at 10 a.m., with a laundry list of activities planned.
Kay Godby, one of the event organizers, explains just what the celebration has to offer.
“We’re going to start at 10 with the tractor drive and a car show that begins at 1. We’re also going to have a crafter vendor fair that starts at 2 and bingo at 2 that will have cash prizes with that. We will also have face painting at 2:30 for a small donation of $4. Kiddie tractor pull will start at three with kids games at 4 and 7,” Godby said.
The evening ends with a fireworks display beginning at dusk.
