Pontiac’s Fourth of July Celebration will be taking place throughout the day at the Pontiac Elks Club.
Alex Arbogast, general manager of the club, details all of the events happening today.
“We will have kids and adults games from 1 to 8 every hour on the hour. We will also have an open swim. This is the only day where the entire club is open to the public. We’ll have a concession stand outside, serving ice cream, pop and even beer for the adults. We will have glow sticks for the kids and will be having a chicken dinner, $8.50 for adults, children 5 to 10 are $5 and children under five eat free,” Arbogast said.
The fireworks are set to launch beginning at dusk.
