A Woodland graduate was recently named the 2016 1st Farm Credit Services Presidential Scholar.
Kassidy Kimpling of Streator was selected from the 24 recipients of the First Choice Agriculture Scholarship awarded by the association to students furthering their education in the agriculture or rural life-related field of study.
Kimpling plans to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to study agribusiness and communication.
