Several CornBelters contributed to the West’s 11-4 win in the Frontier League All-Star Game at Florence, Kentucky. Santiago Chirino was 2-for-2 with a walk and a run batted in, Aaron Dudley registered a sacrifice fly RBI and Nolan Meadows was 1-for-2 at the plate. Dylan Kelly was 0-for-2. Mike Schweiss gave up two hits and walked one with one strikeout in one shutout inning, the second, while Francisco Carillo threw two innings, giving up one hit and one run but striking out four without a walk. The Belters are back in action tomorrow night in the south suburbs of Chicago for a weekend series at the Windy City ThunderBolts, then return home Tuesday for a three-game series against Schaumburg.
The Chiefs and Lansing Lugnuts were rained out and will play two tonight at 5 in Peoria.

Duke basketball has to fill a spot on its schedule when Albany cancelled its November 12 game due to the so-called Bathroom Bill dealing with transgender people. Albany is in the State University of New York system and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has banned all non-essential state travel to North Carolina in protest.
