Former Cardinals scouting director Chris Correa was sentenced to 46 months in prison for hacking into the Houston Astros database. He must also pay $279,000 restitution to the Astros. He pleaded guilty to five charges in January.
The Cubs beat the Mets 5-1 in a rematch of last year’s National League Championship Series. Anthony Rizzo fouled off five straight 2-2 pitches before driving a three-run homer to break the game open. All-Star right-handers Noah Syndergaard and Jake Arrieta square off on the mound today.

Three Thunder players have been chosen for Team USA in the Five Nations tournament, more than any other USHL team. Calen Kiefiuk, Brady Smith and Jeremy Davidson will be on the USA squad in the tournament next month in Dallas.
