The Livingston County board met Thursday night and continued discussing the wind farm energy conversion ordinance.

Board Chairman Marty Fannin explained that after more than a year of discussing this, they’ve decided on language for the advisory referendum.

“It’s a discussion that you think it’d be a simple question to ask. We’ve been mulling this over and going back and forth on how to ask this question for months. It was voted on and passed. We had some dissention and some people who didn’t like how it was worded, but after months of working on this, the question that is going to be asked is out there,” Fannin said.

The question has to do with whether people are interested in changing the wind turbine setbacks. The full forum with Fannin can be found in the podcast section at wjez.com.
