The annual Fairbury summer townwide garage sales are happening beginning tomorrow in Fairbury.

Carol Ely, secretary of the Fairbury Woman’s Club, explained some of the activities surrounding the sales.

“We’ve been doing the garage sales for over 30 years. We also have a summer art program going on at the library and it’s all displayed at the library and we ask people to go in and take a look, choose their favorite one and put their ballot in the container. We’re giving out prizes to adults and children who participated in the art program,” Ely said.
