The CornBelters won their fourth straight with a 3-1 triumph over the Lake Erie Crushers. The Belters have won eight of their last nine and are one game above .500. The Belters begin a nine-game road trip tomorrow night in Joliet.

The Chiefs beat Wisconsin 5-2.

The Cardinals fell at Miami 5-4 as Derek Dietrich ended the game with an RBI triple. The Cardinals take today off before beginning a series tomorrow at Cincinnati.

The Cubs rallied from six runs down for a 7-6 win in 12 innings. The Cubs tied the game with three runs in the ninth inning, then Jon Lester used a two-strike squeeze bunt to score Jason Heyward for the game-winner. Five Cubs played two or more positions, and Travis Wood got four outs on the mound and made a sliding catch in left field. The Cubs host the Marlins tonight as right-hander Kyle Hendricks starts for Chicago against Miami lefty Adam Conley.

The Twins survived four errors and beat the White Sox 4-2. Brian Dozier homered twice for Minnesota. The Sox open a series at Detroit tomorrow.

Jimmy Walker won the PGA Championship by one stroke over Jason Day, finishing at 14 under par and becoming the fourth first-time major winner of the year.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Pocono was rained out until today.
