The 20th annual Relay for Life of Livingston County is happening this Friday at Pontiac Township High School.

Opening ceremonies begin at noon with closing ceremonies at 11:30, and plenty of activities are planned throughout the day. Mallory Audo, community manager for the American Cancer Society, highlighted some of folks who will be honored during the event.

“Our honorary caregiver is Lynn DiNardi. She has chaired the event for many years. Our honorary survivors are John DiNardi, who is Lynn’s husband, and Karen Meister, who has been a nurse in this community for many years. We are very excited. Help us honor them. Come up at 4:00 and you’ll be hearing their amazing fight stories at 6:30,” Audo said.
