They based it on things like commute times . . . average debt . . . cost of living . . . divorce rate . . . the percentage of people in poor health . . . binge drinking rates . . . and average hours of sleep. And the most stressed city is . . . Detroit.  The rest of the top 10 are: Mobile, Alabama . . . Birmingham, Alabama . . . Memphis . . . Cleveland . . . Shreveport, Louisiana . . . Columbus, Georgia . . . New Orleans . . . Newark . . . and Montgomery, Alabama.

The least stressed city is Fremont, California.  The rest of the top 10 are:

Irvine, California . . . Honolulu . . . Madison, Wisconsin . . . San Jose . . . San Francisco . . . Plano, Texas . . . Overland Park, Kansas . . . Sioux Falls, South Dakota . . . and San Diego.
