Streator Onized Credit Union continues its anniversary celebration this week with the SOCU Cash Cab in downtown Pontiac later today.

Yesterday, the group had an ice cream truck in downtown Pontiac and handed out ice cream, along with balloons. Brenda had some ice cream and said she was happy to see SOCU out and about.

“I think this is so cool. We saw the truck driving around a couple of times and wondered where it was parking and why. Five years out there in their new place – it’s unbelievable. This is fun. It’s really great to see people down here and everyone’s reaching out to really try to make the community happy,” Brenda said.

The SOCU Cash Cab will be driving around from 5-6 and will have WJEZ’s own Cat and Dana on board.
